Our Story

Welcome Home Management Inc. was built on a foundation of firsthand experience and a lifelong passion for property management. Our founder, Kate, grew up immersed in the industry, spending her formative years alongside her parents, who owned and operated an apartment complex. From selecting paint colors and window treatments to choosing appliances, Kate developed an intuitive understanding of what it takes to maintain and care for a property. She began managing that complex in 2002, and from that moment, her property management career was set in motion.

Driven by a vision to build a family business alongside her husband and son, Kate pursued her broker's license and took the bold step of going independent. In 2021, Welcome Home Management Inc. was officially incorporated. Shortly after, Kate connected with Roberta Thomas, owner of ShellCrossLee Real Estate, a trusted Bay Area real estate institution established in 1974 and based in Hayward, CA. Recognizing a shared vision and an equal commitment to client care, Roberta chose Kate as the right person to carry her legacy forward. Roberta transitioned into a well-earned retirement, and in 2022, the business was acquired, rebranded, and fully incorporated into Welcome Home Management Inc.

Today, our team brings over 65 years of combined experience in property management and real estate services to every client relationship.
